Kerikeri is blessed with orchards growing all sorts of juicy and delicious fruit. In the cooler days of winter, I am filled with joy to see the abundance of oranges ripening on the trees! So many varieties of oranges, sunkissed that glow with vitality!
This little watercolour of my Mandarin Maiden (100x100mm) which I painted in 2019 before Covid hit became the impetus to paint this Orange Series in oil on larger canvases. I hope this series of paintings will delight you, bringing blissful thoughts and an appreciation for nature's bounty. |
