I call them spirit vessels because they can only hold the essence of our higher nature--love, forgiveness, compasssion, serenity, virtue.

I have been making copper wire sculptures for over 10 years and find that the simplicity of the technique belies the infinite possiblities of organicforms. These vessels of looped wire can hold nothing but our imagination or emotions! These hanging, flowing armatures are more air than metal. They seem to channel the life force, its beauty, its flow, and its spiritual power. They create dynamic, changing shadows as they interact with light. I have "knitted" over 50 spirit vessels, each one is unique and hand-shaped. They seem to float when hung on fishline creating a dramatic sculptural piece for your meditation space, reception or entrance.
